...another not-so-great pressing

This is a hit-or-miss pressing. Side A is muddy sounding, Side B is better sounding, Side C...muddy, and Side D...muddy, but over all the entire pressing is just not that great sounding for a re-master. Sounds like when CBS tried to do their own version of half-speed mastering and it came out sounding dark. HF is rolled off considerably. This is such a great album, my first press U.S. CD in the box with the polaroid's, charm, and map sounds far better. What is going on with these sub-par pressings?
