Shock rocker Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare — part of our Analogue Productions Atlantic 75th Anniversary Series — embellishes an already landmark release. 1975 was a banner year for superstar Alice Cooper with the release of the groundbreaking concept album. This album showcases Cooper's theatricality, storytelling prowess, and ability to create an immersive world of horror and fantasy.

From the opening notes of the title track, "Welcome to My Nightmare," listeners are transported into a dark and twisted dreamscape. Cooper's signature blend of rock, glam, and theatricality shines throughout the album. His gritty yet melodic vocals, combined with a richly layered musical backdrop, create an atmosphere of eerie enchantment. The album's production incorporates haunting orchestral arrangements, catchy hooks, and powerful guitar riffs, crafting a sonically diverse and captivating listening experience.

Pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings and RTI, and housed in tip-on old style gatefold double pocket jackets with film lamination by Stoughton Printing.

Welcome To My Nightmare is wonderful. posted on 01/30/2024 4 Stars Reviewer: Mark This is one of my favorite albums of all time. When I heard of this reissue I was all pumped up. First of all. It sounds absolutely magnificent. The best I have ever heard this recording. Fantastic. It made me remember why I fell in love with this album in the first place. The vinyl was just a little noisy.

Honestly the theme and production of this recording shouldn’t even sound this good. It’s amazing and proof that the Atlantic 75 series is only second to the UHQR series in my opinion. AP and QRP are truly the best at anything they do.
