Limited edition marbled white and southern flames vinyl
Cut from the original masters
Atlantic Records is reissuing Pantera's classic five albums on colored vinyl. Great Southern Trendkill, Cowboys From Hell, Reinventing The Steel, Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar Display Of Power will all be reissued as exclusive colored vinyl editions. Heavy Metal thrashers Pantera broke up in 2003. Guitarist Dimebag Darrell was the victim of a tragic shooting in 2004 while playing with his band Damage Plan.
Cowboys From Hell is on "marbled white and whiskey brown," Vulgar Display of Power is on "marbled white and true metal gray," Far Beyond Driven is on "marbled white and stronger than blue," The Great Southern Trendkill is on "marbled white and sandblasted orange," and Reinventing the Steel is on "marbled white and southern flames yellow."
Reinventing the Steel is Pantera's gold-selling-certified 2000 release. AllMusic says Pantera here is "sticking to the pulverizing basics of their sound, with the first down-tempo, nondistorted guitar part appearing on the next-to-last track, 'It Makes Them Disappear,' and vanishing about 15 seconds into the song ... Reinventing the Steel is a nonstop assault on the senses, offering no respite from the intensity until the album has stopped playing."
Side A | Hellbound | Goddamn Electric | Yesterday Don't Mean Shit | You've Got to Belong to It | Revolution Is My Name | Side B | Death Rattle | We'll Grind That Axe for a Long Time | Uplift | It Makes Them Disappear | I'll Cast a Shadow |
