180-gram double LP
21st studio album from the Australian psychedelic rock band
Throughout seven days, King Gizzard recorded hours of jams for their 21st studio album — Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms and Lava.
"I have a list on my phone of hundreds of possible song titles. words and phrases I feel could be digested into King Gizzard-world," frontman Stu Mackenzie says.
Mackenzie selected seven titles that he felt "had a vibe," and attached a BPM value to each one. This 2LP set is pressed on 180-gram recycled black wax housed in an outer card jacket in place of shrink wrap.
