Halestorm — guitarist Joe Hottinger, bassist Josh Smith, drummer Arejay Hale and singer/guitaristy Lzzy Hale — churn out more uncompromising rock-n-roll on Vicious, recorded earlier in 2018 at Nashville's Rock Falcon recording studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Rush). Vicious comes five years after Halestorm's Grammy-winning hit "Love Bites (So Do I)" became the group's standing claim to mainstream fame.

Vicious is a jump in sonic variety since the band's third full-length album, Into the Wild Life, topped the rock charts in 2015.
