Produced by Stephen Lipson and written by Lennox herself, Annie's debut solo album Diva was originally released in 1992 and features the hits "Why" and "Walking On Broken Glass." Critically acclaimed worldwide, Diva has been described as "state-of-the-art soul pop" by Rolling Stone magazine and was nominated for Album of the Year at that year's Grammys, where it won the Best Long Form Music Video for the Sophie Muller-directed accompanying video album.

5-Star "Diva" posted on 03/08/2018 5 Stars Reviewer: audiofan Pressed in Germany (by Optimal), this 180-gram LP was totally silent and flat, with no trace of surface noise. There is a one-page insert with lyrics. Cut to vinyl at Alchemy by Barry Grint ("Bazza" in the run-out wax), the sound is stunning in every way. Highly recommended.
