The hit soundtrack to the Eddie Murphy-starring 1984 smash climbed to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 in 1985 thanks to Harold Faltermeyer's indelible theme "Axel F," Patti LaBelle's "New Attitude," and Glenn Frey's "The Heat Is On."
