Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band's 2017 Anniversary stereo mix arrives as a 1LP 180-gram black vinyl. Produced by Giles Martin for this year's universally heralded Sgt. Pepper 50th Anniversary Edition releases, the album's new stereo mix was sourced directly from the original 4-track session tapes and guided by the original, Beatles-preferred mono mix produced by Giles' father, George Martin.

It was 50 years ago June 1, 2017, when The Beatles' John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr astonished and delighted the world, ushering in the Summer of Love with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, a groundbreaking masterwork. Generally regarded as the finest psychedelic pop album ever recorded, it's clearly a sonic tour de force — the byproduct of 700 hours spent in the studio, countless overdubs, imaginative production techniques, and full-on embrace of freedom, risk, and adventure.

Praised by fans and music critics around the world, The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper Anniversary Edition is 2017's most celebrated historical music release and an ideal gift for Beatle People here, there, and everywhere.

I have so many copies of this album in different formats. To be honest, I only bought it because it had great ratings and was priced right, but I had no idea what I would be getting. As it turns out it’s by far the best version of this album that I have ever heard and will never buy another – extremely clear and detailed and on quite vinyl.

FANTASTIC!

This may be the best sounding piece of vinyl in the history of mankind. I have had this in every format from lp to cd to remastered cd to the next remastered cd and after listening to this version it was like hearing it for the first time. Extremely quite with details heretofore unheard.

Mind Blown

Did an A/B with USA vs UK version and this has low end that simply isn't on the UK. The sound stage is incredible. Pains me to say this, but mono doesn't do this album justice anymore. Hats off to QRP for an impeccable pressing!!!

Super quiet ! Hearing this is like hearing it for the first time . Exceptional clarity . Great job on the stereo mix. Bass is full , not lacking like on previous versions . Nice to be able to hear all that is going on in the back ground .

Surprisingly quiet pressing

The pressing is magnificent. No eccentricity, and minimal noise front and back. Great job QRP! The new mix is clear and detailed, with somewhat less dynamics than the original, however the clarity and definition surpass all previous copies produced. I highly recommend the new mix. It is like hearing it for the first time all over again.
