Zerostat 3 is a new development of the original piezo-electric pistol. It reduces static on insulating surfaces such as Vinyl records. The Zerostat produces negative and positive ions that couple with the positive and negative static charges on an object's surface, effectively neutralizing them.

Worked as advertised in that it got rid of static, but not sure if my records sound any better because of it... :-)

No self-respecting analog audiophile should be without one! Works like magic, simply and effectively. Removing static from LPs is like playing it for the first time, everytime.

This is the third Zerostat anti-static gun I've had. The first one wore out and the second bit the dust when I accidentally dropped it on a hard floor. Both the first two were manufactured by Discwasher, and the third one as manufactured by Milty is just as good as those that were made by Discwasher. Highest recommendation!

True to the original Zerostat, this is a useful tool that never fails to eliminate those pesky snaps and crackles that the carbon fiber brush cannot. I find it a little more effective by using the gun while the record is on the table, and backing the gun away slowly while releasing the handle.
