Having bought the CD first, I noticed A LOT of the tracks are brick-walled to death. Most noticeably, "Too Drunk To Karaoke" and "I Want To Go Back To Cartagena". I wanted the vinyl and listened with reservation and anticipation when these tracks came up. Somebody fell asleep at the lathe, it seems. I use a linear tracker as my daily driver so the issue of inner track distortion doesn't come into play. Total distortion on the top end of these songs. There's so much dead wax on these records it's a shame they couldn't have used more of the vinyl to open it up a bit. I'm glad to have the LP, but I HOPE there is a second pressing to remedy this. On the upside, the modest and quieter tracks sound great, but still nothing to write home about. As far as song content, I wasn't thrilled at first. You may very well find yourself like I did coming back to it a bit at a time and then not taking it off the deck for days at a time. Now I think it's on
