Surface noise

Posted Friday, August 8, 2008 by BRANDONH Good music and fun to listen to very realistic and detailed and would be really amazing if it were not for the surface noise. Which is shame because that's the whole reason for D2D. Whats the point other than the for sheer dynamics of D2D if the vinyl is noisy. All the aspects are there for an amazing record its 180g (though I don't think its virgin vinyl) 45 rpm direct to disc and a Bernie Grundman was involved all the right stuff on a noisy vinyl so I can only give it 3 stars for that

Posted Sunday, February 27, 2005 by Jim C. This was my first foray into a 45 rpm lp. I was familiar with Jacintha's vocals from CD's so I expected a 'pleasant' production with an analog quality. I was stunned by the clarity/resolution, low noise floor and overall sound quality.
