I bought 2 new albums, one after the other, both had defects in the vinyl. Both albums were pitted, and had slight waves. One pit was deep enough to cause concern, I believe it may cause damage, not just defective playback. Shows "Republic Records, 2013. Both records were same title, I was hoping the first defective album was just bad luck or chance.

Grundman and Gray proven wrong about half-speed masters

Posted Wednesday, July 20, 2022 by Mark Swinford The sound quality of this half-speed master sounds full and rich -- very dynamic, lots of real analog punch! Probably better than if Grundman or Gray were to put out the same title on a 45 RPM version -- who both openly pooh-pooh half-speed mastering. This is the best sounding vinyl version I've ever heard of this title.

Such a killer album but terrible music distribution. This one needs Analogue productions treatment.
