I've used a VPI HW19 JR. (with a SAMA motor) for over 12 years now and just wanted something simple and compact.Wow, was I surprised from the sound that came out of this little machine.Set up was a breeze and I must add that I connected a Clearaudio Maestro cartridge which costs more than 2x's the price of this table. The binding post connectors on the Maestro are thicker than the Tracker cartridge that comes with this table so you will have to open the small gold clamps on the tonearm wires a bit if you upgrade the cartridge (or go with another that is the same size). All in all this machine sounds awesome and it was a well spent $449.Sounds like a much more expensive table for sure.It will knock your socks off…...

I've been using this unit daily for a few weeks, and I'm pretty impressed. It's not too bad to set up, and it sounds better than it's price would indicate. I'll probably play with a cartridge swap, but so far it's been very enjoyable in stock form. Much better than the old Garrard's I've been limping along for years.
