Bloc Party - Anatomy Of A Brief Romance

Bloc Party — Anatomy Of A Brief Romance

140-gram recycled black vinyl in a single sleeve jacket with printed inner sleeve

Legendary indie-rock icons Bloc Party return with a raw, intimate narrative work produced by the "The Man Who Invented the Eighties," Trevor Horn.

After a whirlwind four years that saw them touring stadiums with Paramore and headlining a massive sold-out show at Crystal Palace Park, Bloc Party has channeled that renewed electricity into their most ambitious project yet. Buoyed by their biggest touring year in two decades, the band has crafted a concept piece that explores the arc of a year-long relationship in "intimate and often brutal detail."

The collaboration with legendary producer Trevor Horn adds a sophisticated sonic depth to the band's signature urgency. From the post-punk precision of their debut Silent Alarm to the constant reinvention of their later work, this new record cements Bloc Party's place as one of the most vital acts in modern rock.
