The year 1980 was an interesting one for the legendary prog-rockers Yes. While the Close To The Edge lineup was taking a break for a few years, founding member Chris Squire maintained the legendary status of the band along with longtime bandmates Steve Howe and Alan White, with new members Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes and created the hard-rocking masterpiece Drama. A bit of a departure from the more classically oriented feel of previous efforts, this album slammed all the way to the top of the rock charts. From the kick-off track "Machine Messiah," and standouts like "Into The Lens", it was easy to hear why this new edgy Yes sound truly resonated in the '80s. Check out the amazing musicianship on "Run Through The Light" and "Tempus Fugit", all of which made Drama the classic album it is today!
