Motion picture soundtrack to the film "Prince Avalanche" by acclaimed Texas director David Gordon Green. Its sublime accompanying soundtrack is by fellow Texans Explosions In The Sky & David Wingo. Wingo has composed some of the most stirring scores in independent film in recent years (most recently Mud and Take Shelter), and fronts the band Ola Podrida. He's an old friend of Explosions In The Sky and Temporary Residence, and it's a true pleasure to finally collaborate.

Prince Avalanche isn't merely a soundtrack — recorded in the band's living rooms, it functions as a remarkable full-length album on its own merits, one that rests comfortably in the Explosions In The Sky canon next to their most intimate, elegiac works.
