Unlike the typical tubular tonearm which is made from a continuous material that is either "drawn" or molded, the VPI 3D printed armtube is made by a special layering technique for the ultimate in sonic performance.

Through manufacturing technology, materials and its unique triangularized shape, this 3D Tonearm exhibits phenomenally low mechanical resonance and noise characteristics while providing the extreme musicallity VPI's JMW uni-pivot tonearms are famous for.

The effective mass is ~ 10 grams with unheard of forgiveness to typical out-of-band resonance.
