"The video for Charles Walker & the Dynamites' 'Still Can't Get You Out of My Heart' does what a good soul song should do —reminds you of the good times and helps you get through the bad ones.

"In the video for the song, which appears on the Nashville-based soul group's Love Is Only Everything, from Gemco Records, a couple's romantic evening is disrupted by the woman's erratic behavior. It ends with Walker consoling the man as his lover walks away into the night.

"The Dynamites' Bill Elder calls 'Still Can't Get You Out of My Heart' a focal point of the group's third album and says he wrote the song in the context of a friend who was going through a relationship problem. 'His significant other went through a lot of really hard mental times," Elder says. "He was basically losing a loved one that he didn't even recognize. She flipped a switch mentally and turned into a totally different person.'

Love Is Only Everything also includes a duet with Bettye LaVette called 'Yours and Mine.' 'Bettye and I are old friends from back in the '60s,' Walker says. 'We kind of lost contact with each other in the '70s and '80s.' When their touring schedules crossed paths a few years ago, he says, 'she expressed that she would be happy doing a duet with me, and I loved doing it with her, because she's a great singer.'" — USA Today
