"'We Take Care Of Our Own,' the album's first single, is 'classic Springsteen' with "anguish and challenge [that] run thick and fast" — Rolling Stone

"... a richly orchestrated wall of sound... that nods to the 'Born to Run' era" — Billboard

Marking his 17th studio album, Wrecking Ball features 11 new Springsteen songs and was produced by Ron Aniello with Bruce Springsteen and his manager and executive producer Jon Landau. Said Landau, "Bruce has dug down as deep as he can to come up with this vision of modern life. The lyrics tell a story you can't hear anywhere else and the music is his most innovative in recent years. The writing is some of the best of his career and both veteran fans and those who are new to Bruce will find much to love on 'Wrecking Ball.'"

This is a GREAT album - can't stop playing it. Bruce just never quits. Eclectic sounds and soulful bluesy/gospel influences blend with arena-worthy anthems. The Big Man's final sax solo. This is Bruce Springsteen as we know and love him, all the way. I never expected to love this so much.

This vinyl pressing sounds exquisite. Dead silent, warm and vibrant. Amazing depth for what I presume must be a digital recording. Just great all around. Great songs, great sound, and Bruce is near the top of his game.

They threw a CD in with the vinyl too, which doesn't sound nearly as good as the vinyl, but is nice, in case you want to load up the ipod in a hurry and blast "Death to My Hometown" while driving.
