2011 posthumous release, a collection of previously unreleased tracks, alternate versions of existing classics, as well as a couple of brand new Amy compositions. Following her tragic passing, some of the producers and musicians who worked closely with Amy Winehouse, among them Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, spent time listening over the many recordings that Amy had made, before, during, and after the release of Frank and Back To Black. It was said by all who worked with Amy that she never sang or played a song the same way twice. It quickly became apparent to Salaam and Mark that they had a collection of songs that deserved to be heard, a collection of songs that were a fitting treatment to Amy the artist and, as importantly, Amy the friend.

1. Our Day Will Come
2. Between The Cheats
3. Tears Dry [Original Version]
4. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? [2011]

7. The Girl From Ipanema
8. Half Time
9. Wake Up Alone [Original Recording]

Sounds best if you use your 'mono' button

Ugh, I so very much wanted to enjoy this artist. Having read reviews of other Amy Winehouse releases, which criticized the over production and compressed sound, I opted for this LP thinking perhaps for a 45rpm release they'd put forth the best material. Sadly, on my system, I found the music sounds best when I am listening from another room. I can't imagine the artists, in studio, sounded like this, so in an effort to produce a 'vintage' sound the mastering engineer really killed the music. I pressed the mono button and the sound improved, at least the synthetic separation of instruments was gone, and actually enhanced the 'vintage' sound. The material on both sides of the first lp is all highly compressed, so much so I haven't bothered yet to play the second disk.

My wife came into the room just as I dropped the needle for side two. She listened and looked at me and said 'nice music, dreadful sound.' I think that sums it up. Sadly, Amy sounds best on your car radio.

I have to echo the previous reviewer. Best new release I have heard in a long time. Superb pressing. Why can't this be the norm? Highly recommended. It also really emphasises what a loss Amy Winehouse really was.

This pressing is soo good I cant express it! Ive collected vinyl for years and even the best 45rpm lps have more flaws than this does. There are no flaws!!! The quality of the mastering is tops and so is the vinyl it is pressed on. Amy is alive and right with you singing in your ear, Im not exaggerating it sounds that good, on all 4 sides! I recently puchased Adele 21 and it is shameful how bad that mastering and pressing is. You will be pleased if you add this to your collection.
