Analogue Productions' Blue Note and Nat "King" Cole Reissues WIN A Positive Feedback 2010 Brutus Award!
"...if you haven't picked up every one of the Blue Note and Nat King Cole reissues from Chad Kassem and company at Acoustic Sounds, you're really missing out!" - David W. Robinson, Positive Feedback, Issue 52

Jimmy Smith's April 25, 1960 session with the perfect cast of Stanley Turrentine, Kenny Burrell and Donald Bailey produced these two classic albums that are the pinnacle of the organ-tenor style. A perfect selection of material played at the perfect tempo by great musicians who connect on the deepest, most soulful level. Not a bad day's work.

Jimmy Smith, organ
Stanley Turrentine, tenor saxophone
Kenny Burrell, guitar
Donald Bailey, drums

The vinyl is stone cold quiet. But the music is warm, clear, with a detailed soundstage. This 45 rpm dual disc album is highly recommended.

A must need if you are serious about the recording and quality of sound in your critique of vinyl. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 10+. Seriously folks. This is one of those records to die for and would make any recording of the month or year depending on what you were voting on. Superb highs, mid range and bass it's all there
