Cheap Trick — All Washed Up
Celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band!
Limited edition "Graphite Marble" colored vinyl
New record from the indisputable, indispensable American rock n' roll band Cheap Trick as they celebrate their 50th anniversary as a band. The veteran power-pop group from Rockford, Ill. leads off the album with the single "Twelve Gates." Featuring psychedelic and power-pop elements reminiscent of The Beatles, the sound is not surprising for a group that's always been so heavily and unrepentantly influenced by the Fab Four.
"Our newest single release ... is one of our best yet," says bassist Tom Petersson about "Twelve Gates." "I really love how this song came out. It's one of my favorites on the album."
All Washed Up was recorded at multiple studios in Nashville and at Sweetzerland Studios near Los Angeles. The album was co-produced by Cheap Trick and Julian Raymond, who has worked on all of the band's albums since 2006's Rockford.
