50th Annivesary 180-gram Half-Speed Remastered Edition
Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel's 1975 album The Best Years of Our Lives will be reissued????. Recorded at Abbey Road and Air Studios in late 1974, and produced by Harley and Alan Parsons, the album features the U.K. No. 1 single "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)" and its Top 20 follow-up, "Mr. Raffles (Man, It Was Mean)." Released in March 1975, it reached the Top 5 on the U.K. album charts and remained in the Top 50 for 20 weeks.
Cockney Rebel (this was the first album where Harley added his name before the band) were Jim Cregan on guitar, George Ford on bass, Ducan Mackay on piano/keyboards and Stuart Elliot on drums. Tina Charles and Linda Lewis were among the five backing vocalists. 180-gram half-speed remastered LP of the original album cut at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell.
