Lacquers cut at half-speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios
Tales of Mystery and Imagination, the debut studio album by The Alan Parsons Project, is a perfect weaving of Edgar Allan Poe's short stories with synthesizer driven progressive rock. A new 2LP vinyl edition of the 1976 album features the 2016 remaster and is cut at half-speed at 45RPM by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
This features three bonus tracks (single versions) and comes in a gatefold sleeve with obi-strip and includes a replica of the original album eight-page booklet, plus insert. Limited to 2,000 copies, this is pressed at Optimal in Germany.
