The Doors L.A.Woman meets Analogue Productions' UHQR, the pinnacle of high-quality vinyl!

Definitive limited run reissue Ultra High Quality Record!

33 1/3 RPM LP release limited to 4,500 copies

Die-cut direct-to-board jacket to match original release

Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analog master tapes

Pressed at Quality Record Pressings using Clarity Vinyl®

Purest possible pressing and most visually stunning presentation and packaging!

"I can cut to the chase that of the three — the UHQR, the Analogue Productions 45 and the original, I like the UHQR best and the reasons for that are quite interesting. So the UHQR sounds a lot closer to the original than the Analogue Productions 45 RPM one does ... it's just that power and immediacy and absolutely on it in a Time sense that is unparalleled on the UHQR." — Dave Denyer, YouTube video

Across the robust Doors discography, there is no better candidate for a UHQR treatment than the band's sixth studio album, L.A.Woman.

Flawless is the only way to describe these limited edition 200-gram vinyl reissues. Featuring mastering by the legend, Bernie Grundman, from the original analog tape, and custom-pressing at Quality Record Pressings, these beauties are created using Clarity Vinyl, for the purest sound and most visually stunning presentation. Every UHQR will be hand inspected upon pressing completion, and only the truly flawless will be allowed to go to market. Each UHQR will be packaged in a deluxe box and will include a booklet detailing the entire process of making a UHQR along with a hand-signed certificate of inspection.

In addition, we've meticulously recreated the die-cut directy-to-board jacket from the original L.A.Woman release. Plus, we're including an 8-page booklet with liner notes by Ben Fong-Torres.

The title track is “maybe the best Chuck Berry riffs since the Stones” said one reviewer. And that’s not even mentioning “Love Her Madly,” which became one of the highest charting hits for The Doors.

“Love Her Madly,” was written by Doors' guitarist Robby Krieger, whose inspiration came from passionate arguments with his girlfriend and future wife, Lynn. The song peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart  and reached No. 3 in Canada.

Via such tracks as "The Changeling," "Crawling King Snake," and the frothy, rollicking title track, the collection leaned heavily toward the Blues — in particular, Morrison's boastful "Lizard King" brand of it. All-in-all, Rolling Stone proclaimed L.A.Woman, "The Doors' greatest album" and "A landmark worthy of dancing in the streets."

A landmark indeed, now a landmark production on Analogue Productions UHQR Clarity Vinyl!

I’m a hard core Doors fan and a hard core LA Woman fan so I was going to buy it regardless! With that being said, it sounds great and I have no regrets but I prefer the 45 just a little bit better. Sound stage and lower end sound better to my ears with the 45 on my modest table; Technics SL-1200MK7 with a AT-VM95SH. I do like the new style box…..home run!

I actually own 4 different copies of this album. The Original, a 180g repress, the AP 45 RPM and now the AP UHQR pressed at QRP. I will disregard the first two and just say that the QUALITY from the 45 is supurb with a very tight low end. The new UHQR pressing is PRECISE. Extremely low noise floor and well defined. I belive the UHQR is the best pressing I have ever heard but I still call a TIE between 45 RPM & UHQR! x.com @wifiwizard

UHQR 33 versus the 45

Lots of online debate and discussion comparing the UHQR 33 (Bernie Grundman) versus the Acoustic Sounds 45 (by Doug Sax). The 45 is considered the definitive version of this LP and I think that title remains undisputed after careful listening ... however let me say that the main difference between them is that the 45 has more bass which gives it more presence where the 33 is more articulate and detailed (some might call this forward). The noise floor on the 33 is also lower and has been recorded at lower volumes which also makes it different. I love both copies and I expect I will find myself listening to both - although the convenience of the 33 makes it likely I'll listen to it more.

Very Satisfying Sound.

I have a very good sound system and the last few years I’ve been collecting a lot of SACDs and Audiophile Vinyl. I always liked the Doors LA Woman, but it wasn’t one of my favorite albums.

I just finished listening to my UHQR copy of LA Woman and I gotta say it sounds REALLY GOOD!! It sounds different. Different in a very good way. I hope the rest of the Door’s studio albums get the UHQR treatment. And I have to say it makes it much more enjoyable having this done in the 33 1/3 instead of 45 rpm. I have quite a few 45 rpm vinyl that I never really listen to that much because it’s just a Pain in the A** ! Five Stars All The Way! Two Thumbs Up!

I’m in complete awe with this version of LA Woman. I never thought it was possible for this record to sound this good. Whether you’re a fan of the doors or maybe not but you’re an audiophile, you’re dumb if you don’t buy this. No offense…

The Best Vinyl Pressing Of This disc Ever!!!!!!

Played it last night for the first time. To say I was blown away with the SQ would be an understatement, I honestly thought I was listening to a master tape! TT is a Michell Engineering GyroDec with SME IV and Clearaudio Maestro V2 Ebony cartridge. I actually own several AP, and other, master tape copies (2T recorded at 15ips on 1/4 tape), I therefore know how good master tape copies can sound.

I honestly don’t know how a 53 year old recording can sound this good on a 33 1/3 vinyl disc, simply mind blowing! Surface noise was non existent, dynamic range was outstanding as was frequency response. Overall, the best vinyl pressing I have ever heard. I also own the original AP 45rpm pressing of this recording and intend to compare the two recordings tonight. From what I can remember there is a night and day difference between the two recordings. Also worth mentioning, packaging and associated printed material for the new disc is simply outstanding, as good
