Eighth studio album on import 180-gram double LP!

2023 pressing reissued on Kate Bush's record label

Lacquers cut from 2018 remasters by Bernie Grundman

Pressed at Record Industry

Kate Bush and Fish People Records are proud and excited to announce new 2023 pressings of all 10 of Kate Bush's albums.

"It's very exciting to see people appreciating the physical presence of an album released on vinyl. It's how it's always been for me, especially when I was a teenager. The whole buzz of the record store was part of the experience. Buying an album was an event." — Kate Bush

The records are all pressed on 180-gram vinyl at the world-renowned Record Industry plant in the Netherlands. New lacquers were cut from the 2018 remasters by Bernie Grundman and overseen by mastering engineer James Guthrie.

All designed by Kate and featuring new Fish People label designs. They are protected in resealable poly-bag liners with a 'Fish People Reissue' sticker, bottom right.

Kate's first double album, Aerial, was released on November 7, 2005 and reached No. 3 on the U.K. album chart. As with 1985's Hounds of Love, the album is split into two sections. The first disc, subtitled "A Sea of Honey" and the second "A Sky of Hone." The album sold more than 90,000 copies in its first week of release and has now been certified as platinum-selling by the British Phonographic Industry. U.K. music magazine Mojo named Aerial their third best album of 2005 and the album recieved a BRIT Award nomination for Best British Album in 2006. Kate was also nominated for Best British Female Artist in the same year.

"Aerial is rooted in Kate Bush's oeuvre, with grace, flair, elegance, and an obsessive, stubborn attention to detail. What gets created for the listener is an ordinary world, full of magic; it lies inside one's dwelling in overlooked and inhabited spaces, and outside, from the backyard and out through the gate into wonder." — 4/5 Stars, AllMusic
