Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Star Fleet Project, the near-mythical, long-out-of-print mini-album recorded by Queen's Brian May and Eddie Van Halen, is finally reissued!

Recorded in 1983 with an all-star band that included session bass guitar ace Phil Chen, keyboardist Fred Mandel and then-REO Speedwagon drummer Alan Gratzer, the 3-track set has been fully remastered by Brian May and his studio team (Queen sound engineers Justin Shirley-Smith and Kris Fredriksson), and reissued on 180-gram black vinyl.

The new 2023 mix of the sessions from the original multitrack master tapes, and the artwork has been completely digitally recreated from the original 1983 source material, to give fans the very best experience at the highest possible quality.

The first CD Star Fleet Project + Beyond features both the full-length and single versions of the title track alongside full-length album versions of "Let Me Out" and "Blues Breaker," as well as interviews and live performances. The second CD, The Complete Sessions features 23 tracks newly mixed from the original analog session tapes. The LP is presented on 180-gram transparent red vinyl. The box set also features a 7" black vinyl with an exclusive B-side. A badge and booklet featuring extensive liner notes complete the box set.
