The legendary pop superstars Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons burst onto the rock music scene in the early 1960s with their much revered classic hits singles including "Sherry" "Walk Like A Man" and "Big Girls Don't Cry" which forever changed the fortunes of this very important American recording act.
More 45 RPM hits and big-selling albums followed from their tenure with Vee Jay and then Phillips Records which launched even more powerful chart toppers like "Dawn (Go Away)", "Rag Doll" and "Silence Is Golden."
As the turbulent '60s continued, Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons delivered angelic vocal harmonies and astounding musical manna which soothed the souls of millions with unforgettable tunes such as "C'mon Marianne" "Bye, Bye, Baby (Baby Goodbye)" "Working My Way Back To You" and "Let's Hang On."
Frankie Valli became a very successful solo act as well and delivered one of the biggest hit records of the classic rock era with "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You," while still delivering the mega hits with his 4 Seasons brethren on smashes like "Tell It To The Rain" "Opus 17 (Don't You Worry About Me) and a heartfelt reading of Cole Porter's "I've Got You Under My Skin."
As the '70s and '80s followed, the boys continued to deliver the goods with more top chart successes like the dance floor groover "Who Loves You" and the amazing hit that just keeps forever charting "December 1963 (Oh, What A Night)."
Rhino Entertainment released a fantastic overview of the band with Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons Anthology several decades ago. The original vinyl version of this masterpiece has not been available for many years... that is until now!
