Orchestra Stories Soundtrack for the Studio Ghibli Japanese animated film My Neighbor Totoro

Newly arranged and composed by Joe Hisaishi for children and adults who are exposed to an orchestra for the first time. Narrated by Shigesato Itoi as the father. The program consists of two parts: an introductory part with an easy-to-understand explanation of the names and tones of the instruments, and a suite without narration. Performed by New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.

This is a remastered album, with new artwork, gorgeous specifications, a full explanation, and liner notes.

All of the LPs in this series were created by longtime Studio Ghibli composer Joe Hisaishi. Hisaishi is one of Japan's most prolific and celebrated composers, creating over 100 film scores and albums to date, including every Hayao Miyazaki animation since they first crossed paths, with the exception of Whisper of the Heart, which Miyazaki didn't direct.
