Featuring the Steven Wilson Remix of the original album

Steven Wilson's remixing work began in 2009 as a sideline to his successful career as a musician and producer. He's polished classic records by King Crimson, Roxy Music, Jethro Tull, Yes, XTC, Tears For Fears and others. He's created new stereo and 5.1 surround mixes that have been praised by fans and critics.

Here we have breakouts from Jethro Tull - A (The 40th Anniversary Edition) release. This vinyl album features the Steven Wilson Remix of the original album.

Produced by Anderson and Robin Black, A was recorded in London during the summer of 1980 at Maison Rouge Mobile and Maison Rouge Studios. Along with Ian Anderson (vocals, flute, acoustic guitar) and Martin Barre (electric guitar), the band also featured Dave Pegg (bass, mandolin) and Mark Craney (drums), along with guest performer Eddie Jobson — a Roxy Music alumnus — on keyboard, synthesizer and electric violin.
