Writtten and directed by Steve McQueen (12 Years A Slave, Shame), Widows tells the story of a failed heist attempt that leaves four armed robbers dead. In their grief, the robbers' wives take it upon themselves to finish the job. The film features an original score written by legendary composer and Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Gladiator, Inception).

Zimmer has once again delivered a master class in modern composition with Widows, crafting an intimate, minimalist score that is nonetheless urgent. The music slips beneath your skin and never lets go.
