Dali's car is the musical pairing of Bauhaus vocalist Peter Murphy and Japan bassist Mick Karn shortly after the pair left their former bands. The Waking Hour is a hypnotic mingling between Karn's dark musical soundscapes and Murphy's powerful baritone vocals. Exotic, dark and infused with hints of pop, this album is a rare example of two different musical styles colliding into an outstanding collaboration.
