During 1982-1995, Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda self-released four brilliant cassette albums. These cassettes contained a music she invented, inspired by the gospel music of the Detroit churches she grew up in, and the Indian devotional music of her religious practice. Originally only available through her ashram, they are her most obscure body of work, and possibly the greatest reflection of her soul.

This first pressing includes two extra booklets of essays, photos, and stories, which listeners should find rewarding. It also includes a lyrics insert and album download card.
