Remastered 2016 140-gram vinyl reissue

Time Fades Away is the 1973 classic live album recorded with the Stray Gators while on his Harvest tour in 1972. Out of print on vinyl for decades, it returns to sonic perfection on an audiophile pressing mastered from the original master tapes.

The album reached No. 22 on the Billboard charts and quickly achieved gold status, selling more than 1 million copies in both the U.S. and U.K.

Excellent reissue posted on 03/01/2017 5 Stars Reviewer: Kurt I bought all four Neil Young titles from the 'Discs 5-8 Box Set' in individual 140-gram versions, and though some weren’t perfectly flat or perfectly centered, they were all dead quiet and sounded excellent. "Time Fades Away" looks like the original (with black insides and a lyrics poster). Only difference is the bar code and Official Release Series stamp on the back. All four have “CB” in the dead wax, so presumably they are pressed using the same remaster by Chris Bellman. Recommended. ("Time Fades Away" has never been released on CD)
