Produced with Chris Coady, Thank Your Lucky Stars is the sixth studio album from the Baltimore duo and their second album for 2015. PopMatters says Thank Your Lucky Stars is music for late nights, for falling adrift in slow dark waters and gazing numbly at the glowing moonlight.

"Few, if any (bands) do what Beach House have done in 2015, offering up a second album of material from the same recording session (Depression Cherry) less than two months after the first. Thank Your Lucky Stars is not presented as lesser material, though, but rather as compositions that were written later than the Depression Cherry tracks, and thus presented as a separate entity, without much advance notice.
