Marvin Gaye helped shape the sound of Motown Records during the early '60s and was one of the greatest voices to emerge from the label. Universal Music Group celebrates his early years with the first of three vinyl boxed sets to be released spanning Gaye's catalog.

Overseen by Harry Weinger, this set contains many albums on vinyl for the first time in quite a while. Weinger, who is an expert on the subject of Marvin Gaye, also oversaw the 40th anniversary edition of What's Going On.
