Adelle's second studo album featuring "Rolling in the Deep," "Rumour Has It" and "Set Fire To The Rain"

21
is the sophomore album from British singer-songwriter Adele. It cemented her legacy as an artist who would make once-in-a-generation milestones out of her music. It followed Adele's critically acclaimed, Grammy award-winning debut album 19 (both named after her age at the time the songs were written). Recorded in Malibu and London, 21 offered Adele the opportunity to work with such luminary producers and songwriters as Rick Rubin, Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Dan Wilson and Fraser T. Smith, as well as continuing to work with Francis "Eg" White and Jim Abbiss.

Side A
1. Rolling In The Deep
2. Rumour Has It
3. Turning Tables
4. Don't You Remember
5. Set Fire To The Rain
6. He Won't Go

Side B
1. Take It All
2. I'll Be Waiting
3. One And Only
4. Lovesong
5. Someone Like You

I had a major problem with the sound of the recording . Very noisy and had small gouge in it. Got an Rma and then nothing. Sent another notice as to what was going on and just got another query report from Acoustic Sounds. Very disappointed. Will not buy from them again if this is not rectified.

Excellant album, except for the mastering!

The music on this album is very good and Adele is a great talent. However, the album is called "Adele", not the "Band Supported by Adele". My main gripe with this album is not the sound quality, which is reasonable, it's the mastering and mixing, which puts all the instruments out front and the vocals in the background for most songs. Since when do you go to a concert to hear a singer and the singer is hiding in the background?!? It's a great shame and I agree with the reviewer that stated that sloppy mixing like this is sabotaging vinyl.

Sounds good to me

Very disappointed for LP sonic quality. Such an amazing artist and song selections but the sonic quality is overly disappointing. Save your money for better album

I bought this from a local store and the A side was very good.

My issue was it seems like there was an issue with the pressing as the second side sounded like you had ear muffs on and it crackeled, popped and was just bad.

I think there was a miss press as side A was very good.

Standard Quality Pressing! Acceptable!

The overall sonics of this Lp are quite acceptable. I don't agree with the last reviewer. The sound quality of this Lp is decent, (at least on par with the CD). I'm sure they shared the "same" digital source tapes, and hey! Not EVERY artist is a dedicated Audiophile that gives a damn. I'm just personally happy that this great album was made available on Vinyl. I will agree, that this Vinyl edition, can be a little noisy at times, but not terrible! Certainly, an overall pleasant listening experience and worth getting, (they even include a free download card so you can burn a CD copy for the car). No it's not MOFI quality, it's standard vinyl quality, and hey, that's Ok. Not everything can be Mofi,(although I agree with the last reviewer that this album deserves that kind of treatment and will probably get it in the future!) Nevertheless, although my first copy was a little noisy, when replaced, the new one sounds mostly quiet and continues to make for an enjoyable listening experience.

Great new old album!

I have an European pressing from this album and it is dead quiet. Sounds much better than the CD...

This pressing sounds awful when compared to the cd. Such a talented new artist being pressed on vinyl should be treated with care. This is the future of vinyl, why sabotage it with such poor quality. The vinyl is very noisy and the mastering sounds like it was done by an amatuer. Underwater sonics wont bring repeat customers! Ive invested thousands into my system and most new pressings sound superior compared to their digital counterparts... what a shame

Poor quality vinyl, underwater sonics

Yes vinyl is the only format that is growing in popularity, so why sabotage it with this poorly mastered (The cd sounds way better than this) version, pressed onto the noisiest vinyl Ive heard in thirty years! The only thing redeeming in this is Adeles songs which sound like they are being played under water, while the noise floor of the vinyl is extremely high. I have over 3000 invested in my turntable and phono pre-amp, so its the record, not my system. At least the Mp3 download sounds ok.
