This album has the following unique features which you will not find in any album previously produced:

- It is the first commercially available album recorded from a Direct Cut LP.
- Lasting Impression Music two cartridges to record the same music so the listener can compare the different tonalities of Coli Bri (odd-numbered tracks) and Black Ebony (even-numbered tracks) cartridges.
- You may recall that FIM debuted the first K2 HD disc last August. Now, in October 2008, this album is their debut of the super HD format: Digital eXtreme Definition in the native Pyramix format, 24-bit 352.8 KHz! It is even newer than K2 HD. Once again, this exemplifies that FIM always endeavor to keep close pace with the latest technology for their audiophile listeners.
- This album also represents a new strategy: the recording was mastered in Winston Ma's music room in the final stage, not in the studio. It is more appropriate that the reference of the sound should be tuned to a listener's environment, rather than a studio, for more realistic tonality.

The DXD format has great potential. This DXD CD has beautiful sound reproduction-nearly LP quality. The piano sounds in the room and the quality of play is excellent.
