Great unit

First rate unit clearly better then the unit built into my pre amp. In fact vinyl now sounds better then my not inexpensive CD player and I just have a pro ject Debut III for a phonograph. If you are checking reviews on the internet make sure you are reading about this model. I have not found any audiophile reviews of this model

I had a highly reviewed solid state phono pre-amp but wanted to try a tube based model to compliment my tube integrated amplifier. I can't begin to tell you how glad I am that I made this switch. In addition to a wider, deeper soundstage (with more hight too)the image is more solid, a greater sense of YOU ARE THERE. The ultimate musicality of the whole presentation is much greater, I keep getting drawn deeper into my favorites and the end of each record is the perfect reason to put another one on. It is as if my entire LP collection is brand new. AMAZING and highly recommended.
