If you don't know already, you never will. One of the top 5 Country Rock compilations. If you are not locked in to a specific genre, this is a must have. Great music, well recorded and produced. I listen to Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock , Folk and more. One of the best recordings in my collection.

As a huge ABB fan I have every version of this CD, I personally like the DTS version the best only because of the seperation the SACD does sound better,but like I say I think the DTS version is really cool. Either way it's a must have.

its a brilliant album for sure southern rock with a twist of country and a little jazzy blues. recording could be better but maybe its okay you are not overwhelmed by details compared to other SACD s ,but if you like southern rock its still a MUST

After 30+ years you better have consumed a 1/2 bottle of Dr. Konstantine Frank's Johannisberg Riesling before this masterpiece plays on your SACD system (oh yea...be sure your wife is not at home first!). This sure is different from the sound we got out of old PX speakers in Germary in 1973! If you like electric jamm'en from days gone by, then this is one to buy.

A Must Have for any Rock-n-Roll fan and even more so if you like the ABB. The sounds quality is amazing and the multichannel mix is done perfectly. To get this kind of good multichannel mix with a live recording is very impressive! This one gets a lot of playtime! Buy it now and you won't regret it!

If you're not aware of this unbelievable performance you may be just getting into the music thing. Rock and Roll at its wonderful best in a LIVE PERFORMANCE to boot! Not an unenlightened moment in the lot. This is some of what is important to what rock is about when performed by extremely talented and spirited performers. Having all of this recaptured in terrifically remastered format is a bonus beyond expectation for me. One of the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame's Top-500 Most Influencial rock performances of all time. I would ALSO purchase the 2-lp heavy vinyl edition if I were you. I'd bet that you won't be sorry.

I own about 3,000 cd's, lp's, sacd's, dvd-a's, etc. This release alone has cost 2 lp's, 4 cd versions, 1 dts surround, and now 1 sacd. Why? Listen and you'll be hooked. I've never heard any record that is better than this. Man, these guys love blues, Hendrix and rock and soul. This is done perfectly- both stereo and surround versions cannot be done better. Get it now!

An incredible performance

Finally one gets to hear this incredible performance the way it was mean't to be heard. The Allman Brothers were at there peak when this recording was made. I've always love the material but found the mastering on the original vinyl release to be unimpressive. The SACD release literally brings the performance alive. This is a definite must have for anybody who enjoys blues orientated rock
