180-gram double LP

45 RPM half-speed mastered at Abbey Road Studios

Four classic Brian Eno albums are being reissued on heavyweight double vinyl. The reissue series includes Eno's enchanting 1974 debut Here Come The Warm Jets, his follow up on Island Records Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy), 1975's iconic Another Green World and Before and After Science originally released on Polydor in 1977.

One of the most influential artists of his generation, both in the development of electronic music and the use of the "studio as instrument," Eno's early albums chart his development towards ambient music and are essential inclusions in any record collection.

Originally released by Island Records in November 1974, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) picks up stylistically where its trailblazing predecessor Here Come The Warm Jets left off earlier in that same year. Here, a more assured Eno is at the helm, enlisting the help of his friends The Winkies, former Roxy Music band members Phil Manzanera and Andy MacKay, Robert Wyatt from Soft Machine and Phil Collins of Genesis / Brand X.

This new gatefold 2LP vinyl edition of Taking Tiger Mountain... is presented over two 180-gram discs which play at 45 RPM for optimum sound quality. High resolution mastering from the best known sources and half-speed cutting were supervised by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Each album contains an Obi, download voucher and Abbey Road Half Speed Master certificate.
