Part of the Ten Bands One Cause Breast Cancer Awareness promotion by RED Distribution

In support  of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2016, RED and WEA (Warner Elektra Atlantic Corporation) are releasing 10 titles on pink vinyl

Ten Bands re-issue their albums on limited edition pink vinyl, all for one cause. This is the third year for the initiative that helped raise $65,000 for Gilda's Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for both those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. It is named after Saturday Night Live comedian Gilda Radner, who passed away from the disease at the age of 43 in 1989.

This year's limited pink vinyl are from Anthrax, The Black Keys, Courtney Barnett, Ed Sheeran, Jim Breuer & The Loud & Rowdy, My Chemical Romance, NOFX, Opeth, Pixies and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women during their lives and is the second-leading cancer killer of women in the U.S.; men are also vulnerable to the disease. To mark 2016 Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, RED is releasing 10 titles on limited edition pink vinyl. In 2014 and 2015, RED and its partners in this cause raised $65,000 for Gilda's Club NYC through pink vinyl sales.

These bands and their record labels will be messaging out to their fans and potential customers the opportunity to support this great cause. These are the same full-length albums, made available on pink vinyl for the first time. All will feature different variants of pink vinyl and all will have the Ten Bands One Cause marketing sticker attached.

RED is also sponsoring Gilda's Club of New York City by donating to that organization $1 of every unit shipped on pink vinyl. Gilda's Club provides support for women and men who are diagnosed with cancer, their caregivers and those who have lost relatives and friends to the disease. The club provides networking resources, educational lectures, workshops and social activities, free of charge.
