This recording of Carmina Burana dates from the zenith of André Previn's golden era at the helm of the London Symphony Orchestra and has been newly mastered at EMI's Abbey Road Studios from the original stereo EMI Master Tapes. This XRCD24 was produced and engineered by the legendary EMI team of Christopher Bishop and Christopher Parker.
Recorded November 25-27, 1975 at London's famous Kingsway Hall.
