Perry Farrell - Kind Heaven

 

Perry Farrell's first solo album in 18 years!

The new album from Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell. The nine track effort was recorded with the Kind Heaven Orchestra, and it features contributions from Dhani Harrison, The Cars' Elliot Easton and the Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins, among others; it was co-produced by Farrell and frequent David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti.

The album's bombastic lead single, "Pirate Punk Politician," features a mix of thundering, divebombing Jane's guitars and the kind of squelchy keyboards and beats Farrell explored with his post-Jane's side project Porno for Pyros. Kind Heaven is the long-awaited follow-up to Farrell's 2001 collection of hippie-dream electronic pop Song Yet to Be Sung.
