Perfect for the Linn

The actual wooden shelf measures 18-1/4" x 14", making it a perfect fit for the Linn. It works amazingly well, allowing you to walk normally around the house without so much as a quiver of the platter. And I have BAD wood floors. Unless you have concrete floors, this shelf is the way to go. Plus, the shelf is a pretty common size, allowing the standard wood to be replaced with a more exotic shelf like Symposium or Neuance. In case you're wondering where the wires go, the turntable actually sits about 5" away from the wall, and there is a full-length slot in the back of the shelf, so you're wires will hang down nice and neat, as long as you're using reasonably flexible cable. Anyway - a lifesaver for Linn owners.
