Love the music and recording, hate the pressing quality

I already had a copy of this I'd gotten cheap from the used record store. Unfortunately, it had a lot of surface noise all through the first cut, and in the beginning of the second. I figured since I do really like this, I'll just get a new copy.

Turns out, this pressing had the exact same problem, even though I'd bought this "new" copy years later. I don't know what's up with that, but just buy the CD and forget the vinyl.
