Drummer Louis Hayes, best known from his work with Cannonball Adderley is presented together with his co-leader, tenor-saxophonist Junior Cook, known from his work with Horace Silver, a fantastic hard bop quintet, which featured young Woody Shaw on trumpet. The album was recorded March 11, 1976 at Onkel Pö's Carnegie Hall, Hamburg, Germany; Recorded by NDR Hamburg.

Features extended liner notes in English and German by Michael Laages. Double-LP version comes on 180-gram vinyl, gatefold jacket.
