Limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies on light green colored vinyl
Gravy Train were a progressive rock group active from 1969 to 1975. The band was formed by vocalist and guitarist Norman Barratt and also featured J.D. Hughes, Les Williams and Barry Davenport. The 1974 album Staircase To The Day was their final studio album, which was the first to be recorded by producer Vic Smith, who later worked with The Jam. It featured the title track "Staircase To The Day," which is considered to be a progressive rock classic.
The album came wrapped in a colorful designed gatefold jacket by Roger Dean, who also designed artwork for Yes and Asia.
Staircase To The Day is available as a limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies on light green colored vinyl.
