Posted Saturday, January 28, 2017 by Cellerino Bernardino Despite being an SACD with self proclaimed "high resolution mastering" this hybrid disc is a poor recording - clear, but flat and lifeless. What's worse, the versions of songs like "Light my Fire", "In My Life", and "California Dreaming" are not the hit versions that we all listened to in our youth but rather less desirable alternative takes that I've never heard before. A huge disappointment - don't waste your money.

Posted Sunday, December 11, 2016 by Blotto Have the original WB vinyl -----that 50 year old is superior to this SACD.... ????????? Right now I am using this " Soundsmith" SACD as a coaster for my scotch glass as I listen to the old vinyl pressing that many would agree comes from the company that poorly recorded more great music than any other label-- and it still is better than this ""audiophool " edition.... I am not prone to writing critical reviews BUT this Disc ' takes the cake' if you know what that really means.
