Top notch pressing and presentation and dead quiet. All of these Acoustic Sounds Series titles can easily be called definitive versions of these classic historically important albums.

When Chad Kassem announced the Chess 75 Series, he said that nothing would be held back and no expense spared. He delivered with aces!! From the top quality packaging to the excellent sound, everything is solid on this brilliant release . The vinyl is as quiet as a church mouse. Matt Lutthans' mastering choices are perfect with warmth and vibrance I've never heard on this album before. Wolf's vocals sound so soulful on this album, and the music just takes you to the moon with him. I very highly recommend this album to fans of early electric blues.

If you love Muddy's blues like I do, this pressing will bring tears to your eyes. I can hear Muddy's heartbeat and his soul in every bit of the music. The gatefold jacket is beautiful and of the highest quality. The mastering and pressing is just marvelous; it checks all of the boxes. This excellent reissue is a great way to kick-off the Chess 75 Series, and it is very highly recommended!
